The lions and lionesses always wandering what is going through my mind, I know I look miserable being underweight, my fur is messy and i do have my scratches, but in reality I am as happy as a bear with an empty beehive full of honey!!

Tawnie thought happily Yes she was looking for a family, but she got judged too much because of her instinct to wander and her vivid imagination, and she liked blue, so if water was blue she would dive in. Yes she looks like a normal every day cub, but her personality makes her a misfit amongst lions, and she liked it, no, she LOVED it. The things about Tawnie Lions didn't like was her need to wander, she gets in WAY too much trouble making her a pawful and She isn't afraid of water, she LOVES to swim. She likes anything blue and doesn't know how to hunt even small game even though she is six months old, She has a vivid imagination and talks to herself, so other lions think she is too creepy and is a burden.

"OH LOOK A BUTTERFLY!!" She cooed and bounded after it. She chased it to the Boarders of the pridelands. The fearless, well almost fearless cub walked in smelling very strong of territorial markers, but she ignored it. She smiled real big "Gee, I wonder who lives here" She told herself "An Adventure!" yea, one that could get you into a lot of trouble!! She pounced on leaves and bugs that she saw. She tumbled through shrubs and tried to catch a rabbit, but failed "I'm no good at hunting and I am Famished!" She cried. She heard some croaking and walked over to a watering hole where a frog was sitting, croaking on the shore. Tawnie bent down and stared it in the face "I can croak better" She teased "RAAWR" She mewed The frog just sat there as if he was laughing "What are you looking at slimy" She said pouting the frog jumped into the water "Yea, be afraid!" She said.

Tawnie looked up at the blue sky "BLUE!!" She squealed and started to jump up trying to get the blue object, but she couldn't. Growling she wandered through the barren dried land, the ground was slightly moist due to rain a couple days ago, the lighting was so pretty. She smiled and wandered to a tree she looked around and saw some bugs, instantly bored by the place she walked off, looking at the blue sky.

BONK!

"OOOW!" She squeaked and looked up at what she crashed into, she shook her head and realized it was an animal "Sorry" She cooed and started to walk ahead of it.

I have been watching her for a while now. Other cubs are always so entertaining. Especially her. Her attention span is worse then mine! I smile each time she tries to catch something, be it butterfly or the clouds. I follow her around at a distance, feeling more happier with each step and each word she says.

I slow down, noticing when she says she is hungry. I narrow my eyes, then smile to myself and turn away, bounding off a few feet until I look around then dig in the dirt. A centipede scurries into view, then tries to escape, but I leap and catch it, squishing it a bit. I flick my tail, proud of myself then turn and start walking back to her with the prize in my mouth.

Just as I found her again, she was walking towards me, looking up into the sky. I looked up also, wondering what she was looking at. I love the sky too. It's always so interesting. I smile more, looking back at her just as she bumped into me.

I stumble back a step, blinking rapidly then sitting down before I fall. I look at her more, up close, then grin. "Food for you!" I bounce up, bounding to her side and dropping the bug at her feet. "I'll get you more!" I nod quickly, batting at the centipede, pushing it closer to her. I turn away, then trot foreward. A few feet away from her, I start digging some more, sniffing the ground.

I'm good at catching bugs. Mother four taught me how. She said since I am not big enough and fast enough to get a rabbit or antelope, that I should stick to bugs for now. They are easier, and I am an expert bug catcher.

This time though, I dig up a lizard that was hiding under the cool Earth away from the sun. Mother four said they are very rare, and are very delicious. I've never had a lizard before. I begged her to find one. Ever since I have always wanted a lizard.

It starts to run, but I catch up easily and lunge infront of it, batting it, then slaming my paw down ontop of it, holding it there. I bow my head, raising my toes just enough to I can grab the lizard's head between my teeth and yank it off. I lap the head into my mouth, savoring it, crunching it then swallowing. I smile. It is good. Very good. But she is hungry.

I remove my paw, pick the body up in my mouth and bound back over to her again, dropping it at her paws. "Are you still hungry?"

Tawnie looked at the little white lion she bumped into, that was odd. She tilted her head and stared he was very pretty, his fur was like snow and his eyes...BLUE!! "Oh wow your eyes are blue!" She cooed in surprise "I love blue!!" She squeaked and looked at the bug "I never thought to get bugs" She said and scarfed it, the bug was gone withing a second she thought "That wasn't too bad" She looked up where the lion was but he was off digging. Tawnie stood up and watched from a safe distance, is that a lizard? She watched him eat it's head and then he came back dropping the lizard at her paws She ate that too very fast, he seemed to be of decent cub weigh, Tawnie was skinny, even for a cub of six months.

"Are you still hungry" he asks

She smiles "I think that will be good for now, thank you" She said dipping her head politely at the young male, he was going to be a king one day so she may as well be nice to him right? Not only that but he was nice and he had blue eyes. "My name is Tawnie" She chirped cheery fully while eying her tail and slapping it, "What's your name?" she looked and saw that frog that she met at the pond shore"Hang on I gotta deal with someone" She said and padded over to the frog "RAAAWR" She mewed and the frog again stared "Could you at least act scared" she scolded, she could almost hear him laughing in is mind as he hopped off "That frog seems to think its funny to give me weird frog looks" She said "So I scare him away!" She smiled real big.

She tilted her head "Do you wanna play tag?" she asked And bounded away "Your It!" She giggled but a butterfly caught her attention. She chased it slapping at the air failing to smack it down. As soon as it landed she pounced on it. She looked around "Did you see a butterfly? It was big and yell- oH'' She said looking at the squashed bug under her paws. She smiled and picked it up and dropped it by him "I found this under my paw, do you want it?" She asked dropping it at his paws like he did her. "You can eat it" She said as if she was giving him her consent to do so, with that she bounded around in circles, she was having fun doing random things today.

I grin when she eats them, flicking the air with my tail. Tawnie. Adorable. I laugh a bit, bounding to her side "I'm Tyson! You can call me Ty. Do you have a nickname?" My grin falters when she looks towards the croaking of a frog, apparently the one she was talking to earlier. I smile again, following her with my eyes.

Almost immediatly, she is after another butterfly, and the grin returns. I leap after her, then she smacks it down, not noticing until she looks under her paw. She doesn't seem to unhappy, instead she brings it over to me. I look at it, crouching down and sniffing it, before I hear her say I can eat it. I hesitate. Butterfly? Not much meat...

My tongue slips out a moment, brushing the wings. I jerk away, ears up and eyes wide. I creep foreward, turning my head a bit and licking it again. I look at Tawnie again, then grin and lunge at her. "I'M IT!" I roar, grabbing her, wrapping my arms around her body and falling to the ground, pulling her down with me. "I'LL EAT YOU TAWNIE!" I laugh, releasing her and using her as a spring board. I bolt off, tearing across the Earth and around a tree. I pause, peeking around the tree for her, then consider climbing it.

I turn then, noticing her coming, then tear off again, running into the pond. I bound through the water, leaping over it.

Tawnie Looked at him sniff the butterfly and she tilted her head he licked, looked up, and licked it again, "You don;t have to eat it" she giggled "I am not very good at hunting" She shrugged it wasn't a big deal to her She caught his name "Ty" she thought "I like it, my nick name is Nee-nee" She cooed, She loved it it was so cute. The next thing she knew he tackled her, she laughed "That's no fair!" She giggled. They rolled around for a moment and he said he would eat her "NO! Not if I EAT YOU FIRST" She shouted after him and he bounded off.

Tawnie stood up and chased him, he big feet caring her as fast as they would allow. He jumped over the pond and she fell in. Her head popped out of the water and bobbed up and down as she swam "This is fun!" she cooed and looked around to see crocodiles proceeding "AHH!!" she screamed and flew out of the water "THEY'RE IT" she said very loudly pointing her nose at the emerging crocs. She Bolted and stopped to make sure he had kept up with her. She was relived he had. She tackled him and they tumbled over a bit and he was pinned "You're it" She said and bounced off and ran on top of the rock where the blue sky again caught her attention.

I am proud of myself for a moment, she can't get me! I look around, then notice large dark green things, heading slowly towards us. My eyes grow wide. Crocs. I look towards Nee Nee, and she's out of the water. I sigh in relief, then look back towards the crocs and notice they are getting closer.

My eyes widen more, and I bolt after her, hitting land then running after her, laughing louder. The crocs were gone now, disappointed.

I follow her up a rock, and she stops unexpectadly. I slam into her, "OOF! Watch it Nee Nee!" I yowl, then laugh again and tackle her off the rock, flipping quickly so she lands ontop of me. I wiggle out from under her, nuzzling her and checking if shes okay, then bolting. "YOUR IT NOW NEE NEE!"

I bounce around, mewing loudly to tease her. "Can't get meeeee!" I call, then stop, facing her, bowing low with my butt in the air and tail flicking around anxiously.

Tawnie stared at the blue sky, concentrating on the colors, white clouds, yellow sun. blue sky. She is almost in a trance and then something Slams into her "Whoa!" She squealed and the next thing she knew she was falling off the rock and some how landed on Tyson, he nuzzled her and then ran off. She was a little dazed from the fall, but she was also a little bashful at the moment, she had never been nuzzled before, especially not by a boy! She giggled a little bit and heard hos voice which was what brought her back to reality. She looked to see him rump in the air and his tail wagging. She chased after it And tackled his tail, but not the rest of him so she went flying right over him and landed with a thump on all fours "WOW!!" She said "I didn't know i could fly!!" She ran and jumped again but didn't seem to get it right she huffed dissapointed and looked at Tyson " I guess flying is a once in a life time experience" She said pouting a little "Shame, that was really cool" She looked at Tyson "Hey maybe you can fly!" She said her eyes on his She lost her thought for a moment and then regained it "Your eyes are really pretty" She blurted, She crossed her eyes to look at herself, That's not what I wanted to say she thought. she didn't worry about it. "Ok so i think you have to try and jump over something" She said looking around and saw a log "Like that!" She ran to it and jumped landing a good ten inches on the other side "Your turn!" She called.

I grin, lashing the air with my tail more, just as she started towards me. I prepare for her to tackle me, but instead she attempts to attack my tail. I turn, causing my tail to go from her reach as she lands on the ground. I pause, making sure shes okay again, then grin when she lets out a shocked sound and looks at me, now remarking on her, ahem, flying skills.

She asks me if I can fly, and I grin in reply. "Well of course! I am part bird, you know." I laugh, trotting over to her and touching my nose to the top of her head. Immediatly, she looked at me, clearly dissapointed.

I feel bad, and also a bit angry. She shouldn't be dissapointed, she is to sweet to be ruined by such an awkward emotion. I nudge her, taking her ear in my mouth gently and tugging gently "It's okay, maybe older lions can fly. Then we can fly together!" I grin.

I pull away, and our eyes catch, and she says how pretty my eyes are. I feel my face get hot, and I smile a bit. "Thanks." Within seconds she is over it, and I smile, sighing in relief. She runs to a log and leeps over, landing on the other side, and I follow her with my eyes, doing what I had been doing before, making sure she is okay.

When I see she is okay, I grin, trotting to the log and stopping a few feet from it. I look around, then at it and narrow my eyes. "Fly, right?" I grin. "I'm a good flyer-er." I laugh, then step back and crouch down. I start running, then a foot away I push up off the ground and launch over the log.

On the other side, I land ontop of Nee Nee and my eyes widen. I immediatly move off of her, "NEE NEE!"

She heard him say he was part bird "That's cool!!" SHe said "Do you have wings or do you just fly?" She asked tilting her head "I hear reindeer can fly too" She said nodding. He nudged her and tugged her ear, Tawnie giggled and pulled her ear back as if they were playing a strange game of tug-o-war. He said that maybe older lions can fly and that they could fly together "Yea! and we will get to be in the blue sky like to clouds" She said looking up, He thanked her for the complement and she shuffled her paws a little "Your welcome'' she cooed.

After she was over the log she turned around he was grinning he asked if it was flying "Yea!" she answered and he said he was a good flyer-er. He ran and jumped landing on top of her "OOF" She grunted under his weight He rolled off after calling her name "I'm Ok" She said She tilted her head "Are you ok?" She asked licking him between the eyes "good new Tyson, Your gonna live!" She said bowing down with a giggle "Looks like we are both good flyer-ers" She said Gleefully "I wonder if one of my parent were part bird too" She said looking up and smiling.

She then started to jump around pretending she too could fly. "Yay you taught me how to fly" SHe squealed gleefully ''Thanks for teaching me to fly" She said as she supposedly flew over to him

I grin, relaxing again then batting at her, just as she asks me if I am ok. I nod, and she licks my forehead, I press my head against her after wards and lick her back. I laugh, "Well, if your a good flyer-er like me, then they must have been part bird too!" I then make an odd purr, just as she starts to hop around, flying.

I chase after her, "Of course!" I flick my tail, hopping around and leaping here and there with her. After a moment, I stop and look around, noticing the sun is starting to drift, small grey clouds coming in from the horizon. I narrow my eyes, then look at Nee Nee and club her gently with my paw, pulling her too me.

"We should find somewhere to sleep. It's getting dark." I say softly, then bite her ear again gently. "C'mon." I smile at her, then turn and start walking towards a large mound of rocks, where I know there is a small cave or den small enough for just the two of us.

I get to the rocks, looking back to make sure Nee Nee is following, which she is, though probably more distracted and a scattered path then I have. I tug her ear towards the cave, then push her in and look around, the end of my tail twitching.

I sniff the air, looking for any type of lions that might be around, but I smell nothing. I'm not a good smeller though.

I huff, sure it is safe here, then push her farther in, licking her cheek. "Are you hungry still, Nee Nee?"

Tawnie smiled when he said she was part bird, that made her happy, that meant she was special too and not just an ordinary lion cub. She giggled when he joined her as they 'flew' around. Just as she stopped 'flying' she was gently clubbed and pulled over to him She looked up "Hey where is all the blue going?" She asked as she looked at the now orange, purple, and indigo sky "I think the sun is eating it!" she gasped. He bit her ear urging her to follow so she did, but she sis follow his exact route she was looking at the sky trying to figure out where all the blue was. He tugged her ear towards the cave and pushed her in, he sniffed and she did too, but he didn't notice the lion scent, but it was faint so she didn't complain.

He nudged her again and she went into the cave as far as she could and laied down her jaws parted in a flash or white and pink as she yawned he asked if she was still hungry "Nah Just tired" She said feeling a little drowsy. He licked her cheek she smiled and snuggled close to him and almost instantly fell asleep.

I yawn in reply to hers, then smile and lay down beside her, inbetween her and the den's entrance. I am facing the entrance, looking out at the darkening sky as rain clouds started to file into the limited view space I have. Nee Nee snuggles up against me, and I look behind at her then lick the top of her head, before turning my head back to the entrance, watching and waiting for dangers.

I can say I have never been this alert in all the months of my being. I hear the distant sound of animal cries, and when I look down at the rock outside the cave, it is now spotted with little drops from the sky. I sigh, resting my head on my paws and staring out.

A few minutes later, a loud bang shook the ground, and I jump a bit, realising I am now trembling. I inch closer to Nee Nee, then block out the rest of the shouts of thunder.

Kiara padded through the savanna she was hunting, and she came to Azizi's lands often, he didn't mind so she just made herself at home. She looked at the sky rain clouds. She grinned that was good, Water means grass and grass means more meat. She padded through the field and caught two scents of cubs Her eyes lit up, but it was EVERYWHERE!! They must have been playing. She went to a cave one that she hardly fit in and was looking for a new one. To her shock two little cubs were curled up inside of it sleeping one was normal and the other was albino. She felt a little protective of them and sat in front of the cave looking out for any dangers, nope but there was antelope. She went and brought it down ate until she was full, there was still a lot left over so she would let the cubs have it.

Among nightmares and dreams, I can still hear and sense everything through the haze of sleep. No more then four hours before I wake, the storm stops, the deep rumbles quieting, the bright lights blowing themselves out.

I am awoken by a very strong smell. Lion. But it is adult. My eyes open quickly, and I raise my head, looking back to see Nee Nee resting peacefully. I look ahead and see a lioness infront of the den. I do not make noise, to let her know I am awake. I already understand she knows we are here. Right now, she is not another lioness likely to take us two cubs as her own. Right now, she is a threat to my Nee Nee.

I stay in a crouched position for several minutes, until finally she stands and walks away. I creep to the mouth of the den, looking out to see her hunting, tackling down an antelope then eating. I let a low growl escape my maw, and I narrow my eyes in warning as she starts to come back.

The growl grows, something deeper then I usually make. More warning in it. Right now, I am not the helpless Ty, I am fierce, I am large. I am a lion. I am protecting my family.

I charge out of the den, baring my baby teeth and flashing my claws. I run up to the lioness, eyes wild, then push off the ground and latch onto her leg, taking her flesh in my mouth and completely wrapping myself around her. I let out many war cries, gnawing on her, trying to break skin (but he isn't succeeding).

I start to slide down her leg, then feel my butt touch the ground, and I continue to gnaw on her. "BE GONE BEAST! OR I'LL TEAR YOU TO BITS AND THROW YOU UNDER A HERD OF ZEBRAS!"

(Ok I'm going to put Kiara And Tawnie in this post there names will be there so you don't get confused)

Kiara Realized that she was being growled it, it wasn't scared it was...like Something was warning her to back off, She looked around, it was a deep growl so she thought a full grown lion was after her but juts saw the black of night. She started to felt pressure on her leg and looked down to see the little white lion cub biting and growling, he attached himself to her leg. She gently shook it and let him slide softly to the ground

"BE GONE BEAST! OR I'LL TEAR YOU TO BITS AND THROW YOU UNDER A HERD OF ZEBRAS!"

Kiara chuckled at him "Well it seems you are having a bit of trouble tearing me up, so how will you throw me in a herd of Zebras?" She asked in a soft voice so as not to wake the other, For a cub who was white and stood out he sure was brave, she wondered what triggered his fierce behavior. She stood up and made her way to their little den but didn't enter, just to help the little male feel more at ease. She sniffed "Aww, now this is cute" She told herself, the other cub was a little girl, so he was either her brother and fiercely protective of her, or he had a little crush, well after that maybe it wasn't so little. She backed away a few feet so he would feel a little better and bowed her head as she would have if it was Azizi, just to boost his confidence "I am sorry, I didn't realize I was unwelcome" She stood up again "I was merely my intention to make sure no hyenas or Wild dogs came along and.." She trailed off, She didn't want to scare them "I was just trying to help" She finished "But if you wish me gone" She was in a way trying to convince him to let her stay. She layed down to look smaller and stayed there, she didn't fall asleep, nor did she move, she was like a breathing statue,

"Next time upon attacking a grown Lion Be careful, Not all of them are kind," She warned, she wanted to be here if a more aggressive, usually trespassing males, came along so she could fight him off. She could tell the cubs were a little older than four months She looked a the gazelle "You can have some of that if your hungry" She cooed "I'm done with it" She was getting annoyed with laying down, the ground was moist from the rain earlier and it was getting her belly wet.

Tawnie

Tawnie stayed nice and cozy curled up close to Tyson and her dreams were good. She dreamed about being a full grown Lioness and being in the blue sky with Tyson touching the clouds, It was a cute dream. She suddenly felt a chill and some loud noises. She groaned and sat up, still a little groggy, After a minutes she noticed Tyson's white silhouette wasn't in the cave but it was outside, he was growling at something. Tawnie went to the mouth of the cave to see what was going on and saw him wrapped around a lioness's leg, though she thought the lioness was attacking Tyson. She ran over there and tried to help Tyson by grabbing his scruff and dragging him to the cave. The other was slaying down a few feet away but better safe than sorry.

She looked at the lioness She shouldn't be mean to little cubs, or mess with a pride, though it was just her and Tyson that's what she thought of it as, a little pride of two cubs. "Ty, are you ok? She didn't hurt you did she?" She cooed licking his head between his ears she looked at the lioness "Who are you and what do you want?" She asked firmly she saw some meat close to the cave, it must have been her's, She looked in the lioness's direction, she was asleep so she didn't hear any of the previous conversation just woke up to see Tyson on the ground. Which really kinda scared her even if he was sitting. Yes she may have been looking for a family, but She had Tyson and they could protect each other, what was the point in having a mother or a father? That's what Tawnie thought anyway.

I look up into the beasts eyes to see she is watching me. She gently shakes me off, and I land on the ground on my back, looking up at at her. I narrow my eyes threateningly. "I may be small, beast, but I am strong!" I growl, then launch to my paws when she starts to walk towards my den. She stops, then looks back at me, then starts to speek. I listen, then huff and look over, just as Nee Nee walks out. "NEE NEE!" I run to her, and the lioness lays down a few feet away. I club her gently, pulling her to me and chewing her ear gently in greeting. "I'm fine." I say quickly, then lick her back as she did me.

I look at the lioness. "You... you can stay... But DON'T TOUCH MY NEE NEE!" I warn, sitting between the two females, facing the beast, watching her carefully. I look towards the meal, where she says we can have some. My eyes widen, and I look at her, then turn to Nee Nee and nuzzle her. I push her towards the food, looking around then tearing off a piece of the meat and then walking over to a large, flat rock. I look at it, then brush it off with my tail, setting the slab of meat ontop. I narrow my eyes, examining the work, then run to Nee Nee. I check to make sure the beast has not touched her while I had my back turned.

When I see she is fine, I push her to the rock and then turn around, watching the beast while Nee Nee eats. I sit down straight, eyes narrowed and tail twitching.

KIARA

Kiara watched the young lioness exit the den, The albino cub called her 'nee-nee' She smiles, that is so cute. Kiara wondered what the real name for her was and what his name was. She watched Nee Nee lick him between the ears asking if he was ok They sure are close Kiara thought, her cub hood friend left without a trace. Nee Nee asked who she was and what she wanted she chuckled quietly, they were pretty mature for their age, maybe they had been orphaned or abandoned at a fairly young age, "My Name is Kiara, and I was just attempting to keep an eye on you two, but it seems you guys do a good job looking after each other" She answered. She gets an answer out of the little male, She can stay, but has to stay away from his Nee Nee, she grinned seeing two possible mates when they got older if they weren't Brother and sister. She watched the male sniff the meat tear some off drag it, sniff it then bolt back to the female. They were a cute sight Kiara was happy to just sit there and watch them interact. She looked at the little girl, she seemed like she needed a bath, her fur was a little shaggy, but she had to resist so she would upset her friend..or brother. She tilted her head "So what is your name, if you don't mind me asking" She sat up her belly wet from the damp ground. The male sat tall, his tail flicked and he kept his eye on her. She smiled "Ya, know I think You will make a great king someday" She said that is if he was able to find land to claim and hold onto it.

TAWNIE

Tawnie heard Tyson cal her name as she emerged and she tilted her head and ran to him meeting halfway, the grabbed his scruff pulling him over closer to the den. He told her he was fine "Ok" She cooed and nuzzled him just as he nuzzled her. She felt her face warm a little when he licked her, though she wasn't exactly a bashful lion she could be at any given moment. He warned the lioness not to touch her, she was fine with that, she wasn't very social around adults, they were big and if they wanted to, they might be able to eat her up. Kiara introduced herself and offers them some of her food. Tawnie looked at Tyson wondering if he was ok with it, he nuzzled her and pushed closer to the food. Tawnie ate some, until she was full. She sat up and licked her chops, she hadn't had a decent meal in a long time "That was yummy" She said to herself. She jumped down from the rock next to Tyson and nudged him, he looked like a stature and it was kinda creepy for everyone to sit so still.

Feeling a little bored she pounced and chased a leaf that the soft wind was blowing around. She batted it and pounced on it until soon it was to crumbled to play with, she leaned down and sniffed it and sneezed. She turned her attention to Tyson's flicking tail she bounded be him him and slowly crept up behind him. then when she got close she wiggled her rump and pounced, batting his tail around, she giggle and it moved and she caught it. Getting bored after a while she curled up next to him and watched ants crawl to and fro, it was amusing to her.

I wait for Nee Nee to finish, the silence passing rather quickly. I narrow my eyes when the lioness speeks, saying her name is Kiara. She was trying to watch us. I feel the corner of my mouth twitch slightly in amusion. I glance back at Nee Nee, seeing she is done. She hops down from the rock, then trots to my side and nudges me. I nudge her back, then smile. "There is more, if you are still hungry Nee Nee" I nod, then watch her pounce to and fro, catching a leaf.

At some point, she turns her attention to something near me, and I follow her gaze to my twitching tail. I grin, then turn just as she catches it, then bat her playfully and tug her ear. I eye the lioness, then sit back down, this time facing Nee Nee as she lays down at my paws. I look at Kiara, then let a slow smile tug at my lips. "I'm Tyson! This is Tawnie. She likes to be called Nee Nee." I sit alittle taller, proud of my knowledge about Nee Nee, then lower my head, relaxing a bit and licking her head, then laying down beside her and dropping all tenseness.

So far? This Kiara doesn't look threatening. She hasn't endangered my Nee Nee either. She even gave us her name. And-

I raise my head, catching her words just as she speeks them and stare at her, a little dumbfounded. King? Me? I feel my face get hot, and I grin, bowing my head back to Nee Nee. "King?" That, at my age, seems like a daunting task. I can barely catch a zebra. Let alone lead a tribe.

Kiara watched the little lioness chase a leaf and ate there was nothing left to chase went to the other's tail pounced on it and chasing it. She smiled, they were cute soom the young lioness curled up by his feet. Tyson let her know there was more if she was hungry that there was more, he was good at looking out for her, maybe they wouldn't need parents, but in order to be aware of the dangers and things like that it would be easier to have an adult teach them instead of learning the hard way. He smiled slowly and introduced themselves

"I'm Tyson! This is Tawnie. She likes to be called Nee Nee."

Kiara chuckled as he sat taller obviously proud of his knowledge, that let her know they weren't related "It is a pleasure to have met you both" She answered. Tyson looks dumbfounded when she says he will make a good king

"King?"

Kiara nodded "But then you will have to find land and hold onto it, If lions want to be loners with a companion, than so be it not all lions have to be king" She said giving him comfort in knowing that he did in fact have a choice, well that was unless he was heir of land already, but that was doubtful prince's soon to own land usually have a mother or father following them.

Tawnie relaxed more and started to purr, it was kinda loud, it was a deep rumbling noise, well to her ears it was but it may not have been as loud to Kiara and Tyson. She heard Tyson tell her there was more food if she was still hungry ''Nah, I am stuffed like a turkey on thanksgiving" She answered and after a minute she gave the lioness their names, Tawnie nodded as he told Kiara her named and nickname and nodded Tyson seemed to be proud of his knowledge of her "And I love blue things" She added "And Tyson can.. Uh" She looked at Tyson wondering if he wanted her to tell the lioness, Kiara that he could fly. While waiting for him to tell her if it was ok or not she moved on "Frogs like to look at me funny" She said "They give me their weird slimy froggy looks so i have to roar at them to scare them away" She said feeling proud of herself, unaware that her roar was just a mew or a squeak.

Tawnie looked over at the horizon which was turning orange "Why does the sky change colors? Why not let it stay blue" She pondered thee world was odd, but ya learn to live with it, we are all a little odd right? Tawnie thought then she yawned and fell into a light sleep, able to hear and smell everything around her.

I smile at Kiara, then turn to Nee Nee when she speeks. I notice she looks proud of herself as she talks about scaring frogs away, and I feel proud of her too. I grin, then turn alert when she asks about the sky. I look up, then narrow my eyes, taking in the changing sky. I shrug a bit, then turn back to her and grab her ear gently. She sighs, then lays down to sleep lightly, and I smile again.

When she is near drifted off, I look back at Kiara, letting myself relax all the way before getting up carefully, not to bump Nee Nee to much. I step towards the lioness, eyeing her, before stretching my neck, sniffing her cautiously, before stepping up to her and looking straight up into her face. I sit down infront of her, then stand up on my hind legs and look into her face. "You're not gonna eat us." I state, which might have sounded like a question. "If you do, eat me first." I nod, then look into her eyes and put a paw on her forehead between her eyes.

I drop back onto my paws, then push back up onto my hind legs to look in her eyes still. "I've had over fifteen mommies. They never said I could be king. Why do you say it?" I glare a bit at her, then huff and drop back to all fours. "They say I can't be king." I tilted my head, then flicked the air with my tail.
