Kitty walked through the forest as she did when she was only three months old when she had first arrived here. She admired the trees and the plants and all the vibrant colors that the sun caused filtering down from the thick trees it wasn't midday it was getting close to evening. She was going to a particular place her Favorite place to go and think. She liked to think, plan things out and work out issues with herself not that she had any very often she liked to watch good memories flash through her head of old friends and family members and this made her a little sad because they were all gone she hadn't seen Shomari since forever or eider it has been a while for the croc and Shae was off being free maybe flirting with Shomari or being the timid creature she was.
Kitty wasn't aiming on getting in trouble as she did sometimes when there was nothing else to do but she never did anything stupid like irritate mountain lions or things like that and when she was with friends she would play around and be silly making them laugh it was Kitty's specialty she could even make the most Emo animals laugh or at least chuckle. She smiled slightly as that thought. Yes Kitty was amusing even when she wasn't trying to be.
She trotted up to where she wanted to be a place with lots of small trees flowers and grass like a miniature park she sat right in the middle of the place and took in a chestful of air and huffed it all out. and looked around She loved it here if she had a family they would live here Kitty spent alot of time in the forest lately for some reason she never knew why maybe she wanted to stay isolated from her friends leaving her high and dry which was something she hadn't gotten used too and she hated it.
Kitty turned her head and looked at her tail and began speaking to it randomly "Hi my name is Kitty whats yours?" she asked like sje was talking to another animal and there was silence "OK then I'll call you bob hows that?" she said again so smoothly as if she was speaking to another creature and began to walk after about an hour of pacing she glanced at er tail again "Are you stalking me?" she asked her tail and she sat down wrapping her tail around her small feminine looking legs her tail was very fluffy and made her look like a white bush is someone was looking at her from behind and she then wrapped it around her feet so animals would know she was a fox. Animal sin this area often though she was an albino red fox or something because they don't see arctic foxes very often well not at all.

Dappled golden light played on the fronds of the ferns and the trunks of birch trees, throwing stripes and speckles across the loamy earth. The air was crisp, and the ground was soft with freshly fallen rain. A cold wind stirred the leaves of the trees, sending them into fits as their whispers echoed around the trunks. They gradually calmed, and as their twitching forms lay still like dying beasts, the forest fell silent again. The forest light was dim and gloomy, and accompanied by the silence, the scene was slightly spooky. The gray and black shadows lay draped across the plants like blankets. Looming, lurid silhouettes littered the area and acted to intimidate smaller creatures, and warn them of the danger that laid in wait.
But within this foreboding forest, there was a more beautiful, and serene place. A circle of ten cottonwoods held back the shadows like valiant guards, giving the sun a chance to cast it's full glory upon the brown earth, and the vibrant grass, and the jagged boulders in their center. The clearing was white with light, and even a few birds could be heard chittering softly in the trees here. It was like an oasis in a desert: a relief for the frightened, and a good place to rest one's paws.
A small, shadowy form flickered through a tunnel of shadows and spotted golden light filtering in from above, moving at a quick pace, but not quite at a run. His features exploded into color and shape as he emerged into the light of the clearing. He was a small arctic fox, gray around the face and hindquarters because summer was just coming to a close, and his pelt had not quite turned white. His shaggy fur bounced as he trotted along, and his golden eyes were vivid in the intense light. His ears, which had been pressed flat against his head, perked up and swiveled around as his paws slowed to a halt. His probing gaze scanned the clearing, his nose twitching as he scented for another creature. Nobody else was present. He breathed a quiet sigh of relief, which whooshed out of him as if he'd been holding his breath.
Riley had slowly become paranoid that a big animal had been watching him as he crept through the forest, and his heart had began to hammer as he slipped into a trot. But now, he was bathed in warm sunlight, and the fluttering of sparrow's wings could be heard. He felt safer.
The small dog-fox arced his back and stretched his forepaws out in front of him, as his jaws cracked open in a huge flash of pink for a mighty yawn. Straightening up again, his bushy tail swung back and forth lazily as he took in the area with an easy smile this time. Pointed green stalks that reached just above his paws poked out of the smooth earth, and a few rocks were strewn about. He saw a particularly comfortable-looking one and padded forward, hopping up onto it with ease, as it only reached as high as his back. He curled up in the sunbeams, his light gray pelt blending in quite well with the flat surface of the rock. He sighed contentedly this time, letting his tail fall over his forepaws and then rested his chin on top. The sun felt good on his skin, as it slowly soaked through his fur. Gotta enjoy this while I can,' he thought to himself, 'Summer's almost through, an' then you'll have ta go back ta the ole den.' He closed his eyes, a smile curving his lips upwards.
A rustle of fur and leaves caused his eyes to snap open again. That sound was definitely larger than a bird. Nervously, his eyes flicked around the edges of the clearing, but he did not lift his head from his paws. He did not want to give away his position, for at first it was likely that he would not be noticed, since he was so still and blended so well. He blinked in surprise as a dazzling white form slid gracefully from the edge of the trees. If his chin had not been resting on his paws, his jaw likely would have dropped open.
She was beautiful, her white hair flowing slowly around her as she walked. The sun struck down just perfectly on her, as it did on everything else in the clearing, lighting up her eyes. They were as yellow as the center of a daisy, and shaped like two delicate almonds. Riley had never seen another arctic fox besides those in his family, let alone a female one in such a spectacular scene. His owlish, golden eyes watched her, his wide ears pointing towards the other expectantly as he watched like a statue.
"Are you stalking me?" she growled at her tail, frowning deeply at it. Confusion clouded his gaze as he watched her with curiosity. She seemed a little crazy. His lips pulled back in a smirk, revealing pointed white teeth. He was entranced by the funny little she-fox. Riley's eyes were locked on her face, and still he did not move a hair.
He nervously wondered whether he should stand up and introduce himself. 'You blundering idjit!' he thought to himself, 'Ya can't jest git up now and talk ta her. Ya been layin' there like a dead rat, a'spyin' on the poor gal. She'll jump clean outta her fur if ya break the silence.' So he waited, and he watched, wondering if she would even notice him.
It was then that a big green pinecone tumbled from the branches above, and smacked Riley right between the ears. "YIPE!" he yelped, as he scrambled to his paws, his head buzzing with stars. "Wut in the name o' gawd was that?!" He spluttered angrily, looking around wildly, and catching sight of the pinecone, "Cottonwoods ain't got no dang pinecones!!" Shaking off the daze from the stunning young lady, and from the impact of the pinecone, he raised his eyes and saw a squirrel chattering in the branches above, clearly dying from laughter as it rolled about clutching it's belly. He narrowed his eyes as he glared up at it. "Oh, ya'll pay ya little bugger," he snarled threateningly, sitting back on his haunches as his tail bristled out. "I'll have my teeth in ya tail by ta'night, ya kin count on that. I'll-" A soft giggle interrupted his threats, and Riley took his eyes from the squirrel and looked sharply to his left. The lady fox had seen the whole thing. His skin flushed hot with embarrassment. "Umm..Hello miss," he said sheepishly, ducking his head slightly. There was just no recovering from that one. He smiled slightly, laughing at himself. Ehehe..

Kitty felt a presence like some one was watching her every move she looked around but saw nothing "maybe birds" she whispered and ignored her fluffy tail she began skipping around when she heard a noise and spun to see what it was "WHAT was that" she said surprised to see another arctic fox a marble one at that "oooh he's pretty" she whispered she hadn't seen another fox in a while and he was eye catching his she could see his face he was yelling at a squirrel who threw a pine cone at him she giggled as he yelled at it he was weird but so was kitty who else talks to their tails but then who yells at squirrel he turned around and looked embarrassed and said hi "Hello" kitty said focusing on his eyes much like hers gold a deep gold "If you want to you can have that squirrel for dinner" Kitty giggled "what's you're name I am the almighty fearsome Kitty!" she said playfully this was was very cute and well kitty being as energetic as she was never showed if she liked someone she was never afraid to be her self "Nice day yes? she said she starred at him spaced "I like you're fur you certainly stand out" she said not thinking.
Kitty came out of her trance and spun aroung and faced him again then she tackled him "Pinned ya" she giggled "do you wanna play a game?" she said Kitty was obviously hyper she hoped he wouldn't think she was crazy and need to be ditched she liked having company she pounced off the fox and jumped on a near by rock "we'll play tag but your it" she said and jumped over him "come and get me!" she giggled and ran behind a tree hopefully he would want to play. Kitty wasn't like other foxes she maybe mesmerized by beauty but she never showed it so if a male came by he wouldn't know if she liked him or not kitty was never much of a flirt instead she was childish and very weird but animals wanted to be her friend anyway she stood behind the tree watching Riley ready to bolt if he was going to play a game. She liked games they were a good way to get to know other animals without flooding them with questions

life has moments hard to describe feeling great and feeling alive never comin' down from this mountain we're on
Riley looked over his shoulder at the young female. She was studying him intently, and he felt himself grow nervous as she addressed him. He stood up and turned to face her as she commented on the squirrel, and struck a dramatic pose. "I am the almighty, fearsome Kitty!" He couldn't help but smile. Obviously, she was trying to make him feel better for making a fool out of himself. His tail slowly wagged back and forth. He was glad she wasn't the judgemental type that would have found him odd, and turned away from him. "Darlin', you're about as fearsome as a barrel o' goldfish," he chuckled, feeling his shoulders relax. always knowin' we're gonna be fine feeling great and feeling alive never comin' down from this mountain we're on
As the young female complimented his fur, he became slightly bashful again. He looked down at his paws as if suddenly captivated by them, and shuffled his paws in a modest manner. As he glanced up at her to see what her next action might be, he saw her hurtling at him. His eyes widened in surprise, and his ears flattened as he dropped swiftly into a crouch. She slammed into him with surprising force, bowling him into a backwards roll, of which she ended perched neatly atop him. He blinked up at her in surprise, his paws drawn up to his chest as he lay on his back. "Pinned ya!" the view is so clear and it's crazy up here
As she leaped away, swift as a jackrabbit, he still lay there dazed for a moment before rolling onto his side and staring after her blankly. "We'll play tag, but you're it!" He watched her shoot giggling into a small stand of trees by the edge of the clearing. Riley's ears pricked, as he watched them attentively. Her pretty little head popped out from behind a tree, surprising him with her agility and stealth. "Come and get me!" she teased. The tom got to his paws, shaking the dust from his pelt. He sneezed, shaking his head as he did so. Then, he looked towards the trees again, where the small white head still poked around the tree with a hopeful gaze. His eyes narrowed as he looked at her from under his brows, and a sly, impish grin slid across his lips. life is amazing with you on the ride
"Oh, so you wanna play, do ya now?" he asked, advancing towards her on stiff, menacing legs. Mischief glinted in his eyes as he dropped into a hunting crouch, his hindquarters wiggling playfully in the air. His ears flicked forward, and in the same instant he sprung forward, raising his head towards the sky in a rambunctious and excited howl. His gray form rocketed across the clearing, and the she-fox squealed gleefully as she turned and scrambled away from him. As he sped after her, they wove between the trees of the forest, and the sunlight flashed over their pelts like strikes of lightning. The tall, motherly deciduous trunks watched them quietly, as they laughed and cantered onwards. Riley dug his paws into the earth to increase his speed, feeling himself gaining on her. With a mighty surge of power, he thrust his hindpaws into the dirt, and sailed over Kitty's head, landing in front of her. no time to be lazy the journey is perfect the pace is so crazy the race is so worth it
Riley didn't want to risk injuring the lady, so he had planned his leap carefully, screeching to a halt just a tail-length from her face. She tried desperately to stop, but couldn't because he was too close. Instead, she barreled head-on into him. The force of the collision sent them both rolling, and when they stopped, Kitty had again landed on the top of the pile. Both creatures were silent for a long few seconds. Riley looked up at her solemnly during this time, before bursting into raucous laughter. He pried one of his trapped forepaws free from where she lay pinning it on top of him. "Tag," he said breathlessly, poking her nose with the paw, "You're it." His round eyes creased into tiny slits and his lips pulled back to reveal sharp white teeth and a pink tongue as another loud roar of laughter burst from his jaws. I will be with you we'll do this together

Kitty skipped around the tree waiting for Riley charge and as she hopped he wanted to play a game he ran towards her "Whoa" she said watching him run and then with a squeal like sounding giggle turned and ran she looked back every now ad then to see where he was. she weaved through trees and bushes wondering when the pounce was going to knock her over but she hadn't felt anything yet "haha I'm faster than you!!" she laughed trying to make him run a little faster she leaped over a root and glanced back to see where he was, to her surprise he was nearly right on her tail she giggled and looked ahead of her.
She was stunned to see him practically fly over her head and land perfectly in front of her. Kitty's mind took a road trip to the clouds she couldn't think clearly for a second and when she realized what was gong on he was right in front of her she tried with all her power to stop but went crashing into him yet again. They rolled for a minute and she was sitting right upon him again she giggled "pinned you again" she cooed. She crossed her eyes looking at his paw as he poked her nose "tag" he said obviously out of breath "your it" Kitty giggled and released him from her pinning "wow that was fun"she said practicality dancing about. "haven't played a good game of tag in a really long time" she sat down to catch her breath Kitty watched him again as he burst into laughter she couldn't help but laugh too she was happy right now things seemed almost perfect, she hadn't been this happy since that day she was on the beach with Lemuria "Ok i may be it" kitty giggled "but with the way you jump around i might be running strait through trees to catch you" She laid on her back under a bush and started batting a leaf hanging over her face. Kitty's head was still spinning from the little game they were playing and the image of Riley flying in right over her head was something she would never be able to forget.
After a while kitty sat back up and hid behind another tree, she crouched down low and crawled trying to be sneaky around Riley she wanted to sneak up behind him and tag him without him being able to run off. as far as she knew her sneaky plan was going to work she slowly came up behind him and jabbed him with her paw "tag, your it" she giggled "that was easier than i thought, didn't have to barrel through trees to catch you" she walked back in front of him and sat down she was ready to bombard him with some questions.
"ok time for the 20Q game" she teased "I'll ask you some questions and you have to answer them then you can ask me a few" She nodded pleased with her never ending idea of games. "ok" Kitty said "I'll start, What brings you to this little forest do you have a den here or were you just exploring" Kitty asked with her head slightly tilted she wasn't going to give him time to answer so she went to her next question "Is it fun yelling at squirrels?" she giggled "i have yelled at a baby bird but never a squirrel" she wanted to ask more like where he came and stuff like things he likes just basic questions to know him "And how often do you jump like that?" kitty said again thinking of the flying leap over her head and landing gracefully in front of her. Her head tilted to the other side she was acting as if she was a confused little puppy but that was something kitty did often when she was curious or trying to be silly.

bombardier, this is the pilot speaking and I've got some news for you
Riley rolled to his feet and looked around him as she got up and scampered off. She snuck back and tagged him within a few moments. She seemed to have enough energy to run around the whole forest three times in an hour, and not be tired! He watched her in amazement as she bounced around excitedly, and then began to ask him things about his life. She fired off question after question, and tilted her head this way and that, as if she couldn't hold the weight of her skull. This comical puppy-like behavior made Riley smile. He wasn't really known to be so easily excitable, but he was indeed known to be a strange one. "Whoa, now. Slow down there detective," he said softly with a gentle wink, trying to calm down the excited female, "I'll give you your answers, but you gotta give me time to think!" it seems my ship still stands no matter what you drop and there ain't a whole lot that you can do
Riley paced back and forth, and began to twirl in tight circles, trying to get comfortable. He sat down, curling his fluffy tail around his paws. His golden eyes were transfixed on his feet, as he considered her game. What if he told about his past, and she found something she disliked? Would she approve of the way he allowed his siblings to die in the paws of a bear? Maybe some never blamed him, because he was small at the time, but he always blamed himself for never being able to defend them. "Okay, I'll play," he said finally, "But let's limit it to one question at a time, so my poor brain doesn't melt." He looked thoughtfully up towards the trees, seeing a blue sky poking through in little patches. 'What a lovely day..' he thought distractedly, before looking again at Kitty. oh sure, the banner may be torn and the winds gotten colder perhaps I've grown a little cynical..
"Let's see.." he said, thinking about her questions, "I'm not from around here, actually. I am from up North, where it is cold. There were certain memories I wished to... escape... so I headed South. I hadn't noticed I'd come so far, until I saw these huge trees. I am just a wanderer, I have no den yet. I was hopin' soon to go back up ta the tundra, and make a den there. I don't really like this hot weather; it's gonna make me brown as a caribou if I stay too long!" He wondered if perhaps he should answer her other questions. 'Maybe they were just playful, and she wasn't actually serious...' he thought nervously, and then realized he was stressing over something stupid. 'Get a grip!' he told himself in his mind, 'She won't care! Don't be so hard on yourself, she seems like a nice girl.' With a jolt, he realized he hadn't even introduced himself. 'How rude!' "I'm Riley, by the way. It's nice to meet you." He blushed deeply under his fur, glad she couldn't tell because of it's thickness. but I know no matter what the waitress brings I shall drink in and always be full
After a few moments, he relaxed, and began to think about the other fox present. His eyes lost their foggy, embarrassed look, and turned upwards slightly to stare intently into hers with a friendly warmth. 'What should I ask her first?' he thought, his curiosity bubbling up on many different subjects. Finally, he decided he should ask her the same thing. "So, Kitty.. what about you? I bet you're not from around here either; not many arctic foxes decide to live in such a warm forest." He smiled at her encouragingly, but still that nervous quality shivered in his heart. What if he'd asked something too personal? 'Oh, shut up,' the voice in his head said to his illogical worries. Silently, he thanked it.
So, maybe he was a little crazy.. at least nobody would know it. [/blockquote] But you.. Grew up in a small town And when the rain would fall down I'd just stare out my window Dreaming of what could be And if I'd end up happy I would pray
Kitty looked expectantly at Riley her light gold eyes practically glued to him as she listened intently to him as he spoke She grinned when he said slow down, so she shut her big mouth "ok I will slow down Mr. slow" she teased and he would answer but she needed to give him some time to think "ok ok you can work your brain first" she replied nodding He began pacing in little circles trying to get comfy she waited patiently for him to get situated. she smiled really big when he said he would play but she had to limit it one question at a time. she nodded her head in agreement and perked her ears forward listening he looked at the sky for a moment and went on to his story , he didn't live here she knew that much she listened he wanted to get away from his past that clued kitty in that it wasn't a pleasant past she felt bad for him. He didn't notice how far south he came either. Kitty did she was almost always so alert something she learned from Lemuria her adopted mother,
Trying hard to reach out But when I tried to speak out Felt like no one could hear me Wanted to belong here But something felt so wrong here So I prayed I could break away
She still listened she was quiet as a ghost and her eyes fixed on him absorbing the words he spoke like a sponge he had plans to go back to the tundra and make his den there and if he stayed he wold be brown as caribou she giggled at the thought of that. but she didn't want him to go back that would be another friend gone away that thought made her frown slightly she liked being around animals, especially Riley she hadn't met another arctic fox even though she was one herself she stowed away on that ship before she could even socialize with any other foxes she enjoyed the company of another. She lost her train of thought when she was in her own little world almost forgot about the other fox.
I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly I'll do what it takes til' I touch the sky And I'll make a wish Take a chance Make a change And breakaway
Her attention came spiraling back when he introduced himself as Riley she giggled "Nice name" she said "and its nice to meet you too" she giggled he was late stating his name but she didn't mind at all. he looked up slightly he starred intently into her eyes just like hers his were gold only a deeper kinda gold almost brown she again lost her train of thought they really did complement his fur she shook her head to remember what she was thinking about but it was lost he asked where she was from so she answers "same place as you" she said "up north i stowed away on a ship by accident when i was two months old i was luck they humans were kind if not i might not be alive" she shuddered at that thought "anyway the ship kinda crashed and i wandered away from the beach and almost died in a forest an ocelot saved me and raised me only for a while hen she kinda disappeared. I met some friends, Shomari, Eider, Sholanta, and a wolf, i met a fox named Shae and you" she added nodding "unfortunately i don't remember my real mother or father i don't even know if i have any brothers or sisters" she added sadly she wanted a family but as far as she was concerned she had none she only had her friends.
Out of the darkness and into the sun But I won't forget all the ones that I love I'll take a risk Take a chance Make a change And breakaway
She smiled slightly "and i practically live here only because its the only area I really even know so i guess it's safe to say that i am kinda scared to back back up to the colder regions though i would probably like it" She spaced thinking about how nice it would be to see a snowy winter again and her thick coat being useful for a change but that kind of journey would be dangerous by yourself and it would get very lonely it would drive Kitty crazy Wanna feel the warm breeze Sleep under a palm tree Feel the rush of the ocean Get on board a fast train Travel on a jet plane, far away And breakaway

somewhere between happy.. and total fucking wreck
The young tom fox sat quietly, ears flicked forward, and head tilting forward slightly as he listened with great interest to Kitty's tale. He took in what she was saying, a slight frown on his face as he concentrated. "Up north, I stowed away on a ship by accident, when I was two months old. I was luck they humans were kind. If not, i might not be alive." He blinked twice, slowly. So she wasn't from around here either! He wasn't actually shocked to hear that she came from the arctic too, considering her species, but for some reason he now felt satisfied knowing this piece of her history. "An Ocelot saved me, and raised me," she said quietly, and Riley watched in amazement. How difficult it must have been to grow up in a forest! A new respect for her glittered in his golden gems. feet sometimes on solid ground, and sometimes at the edge
When Kitty got to her family, a pang of surprise shot though his heart. She didn't remember her parents, or even know if she had any siblings! That was so awful.. what would he have been if he hadn't grown up with any family? He would have never known how to act, or how to have friends. And he would not have grown stronger, and wiser from the bad experiences brought on by having three siblings. His tail lashed uncomfortably. He felt terrible for Kitty, and wished he could help her somehow. It didn't seem right that such a nice fox be destined to live without the knowledge of her past, or her parents. He dug his claws into the earth in silent frustration as she continued. Fate could certainly be cruel sometimes. to spend your waking moments, simply killing time
"It's the only area I really even know.." she admitted reluctantly, and he was slightly taken aback. Did she truly not know anything that lay outside of the forest?! Surely such an adventurous, and energetic she-fox had not been discouraged by her lack of knowledge to see whatever else this wondrous world held? "I am kinda scared to back back up to the colder regions.." she told him, obviously taking a chance by telling him of her more vulnerable emotions. He suddenly felt the urge to reach out and comfort her. 'Don't be afraid,' he wanted to tell her, and reach out a strengthening paw. But he didn't know her all that well.. Would she find him strange? Would she shrink away from his touch, from his comfort? His nagging worries would not leave him alone, and so as they dive-bombed his brain, he sat silently pondering every word that she'd said. Finally, he struck up the courage to pour out what he'd been thinking.. is to give up on your hopes and dreams...
"Young lady," he burst out, leaping too his paws suddenly, afraid this brazenness wouldn't last. "If I dared to be harsh enough, I would say I were ashamed of you!" He pranced forward confidently on two legs, placing his forepaws on her shoulders as he looked into her eyes. "I cannot believe, nor understand why you would ever be afraid to have an adventure. You are a strong vixen, and I know this just by how you grew up in a strange environment. Kitty, you can be anything you want to be. Just trust in yourself. I hardly know you, and I already trust you with my life..." his words dwindled off, as he realized he was pouring out all of his feelings to her. Letting his paws fall from her shoulders, he backed up a step or two, staring with interest at his paws. He blushed, and his voice lowered now to a whisper, taking a different approach. to give up on your.. life for you has been less than kind so take a number, stand in line we've all been sorry; we've all been hurt
"Look..." he said, lifting his eyes from his paws to look up into hers once more. He dared himself to keep them there, finding it wasn't as hard as he thought. They were beautiful eyes, after all. "Look..I know you're kinda reluctant to go back up north to the snow, but I have a feeling you'd love it too. If you'd like, I'm probably going back up there in a few days. I know you hardly know me... but I'd love for you to join me. I would protect you, I promise. And we could look after each other, and have some amazing adventures..." He stopped again, inhaling and holding his breath. He realized his words had been tumbling from his mouth again. "So.." he exhaled, trying again, this time more slowly, "Would you come with me?"
but how we survive is what makes us who we are

The struggles I'm facing. The chances I'm taking. Sometimes might knock me down but No I'm not breaking. I may not know it but these are the moments that I'm gonna remember most, yeah. Just gotta keep going. And I, I gotta be strong. Just keep pushing on 'cause, Kitty starred at Riley wandering what he thought of her life lacking family wasn't all that great kits would love it until they realized how much they needed their family. She could tell he was listening rather intently he was obviously a good listener she like that it was a good trait for foxes one that was lacking severely in the world these days. He began to speak it seemed like he was blurting out whatever came to mind "Young lady" she said standing up he said if he dared to be harsh that he was ashamed of her her ears laid flt at that comment though she knew he wasn't trying to be rude she felt a twinge of shame as well, she still listened. HE said he couldn't believe or understand for that matter why she would ever be afraid to adventure "You are a strong vixen, and I know this just by how you grew up in a strange environment. Kitty, you can be anything you want to be. Just trust in yourself. I hardly know you, and I already trust you with my life..." he told her her eyes were wide with surprise wow hes a really good fox Kitty thought to herself as she listened to him rant.
There's always gonna be another mountain. I'm always gonna wanna make it move. Always gonna be an uphill battle But Sometimes I'm gonna have to lose. Ain't about how fast I get there. Ain't about what's waitin on the other side. It's the climb. he stopped for a moment as if shocked him self she had only noticed his paw was on her shoulder he was trying to calm me! Kitty thought, though it sounded a little more like a lecture. He looked down at his paws for a minute as if he was sad or blushing and hiding it although there was no need no one could see a blush thought the thick fur on a fox. She smiles a little she didn't think he was bashful especially after he had the stomach to say all that . She still listened as he started to speak again "Look.." he started in a bit of a whisper he said her knew she was reluctant to go back up to the tundra to where snow was and that he knew she would love to and Kitty really did want to go back maybe see her family, if there was anyone left in it that is, Kitty cringed at the thought of all her family being gone never to be seen again she shuddered and shook off the thought and listened.

He was looking at her square in the eyes and she looked right back listening he said he was going back in a few days Kitty grimaced she didn't want someone else to leave her high and dry she rarely say Shomari, Shae, Eider, Sholanta, Helaku well kind the wolf was emo? well that's what it seemed to kitty but she likes wolves so she didn't mind at all. Her eyes lit up when he offered to take her with him she waited patiently to Finnish ''I would protect you, I promise. And we could look after each other, and have some amazing adventures..." He was so sweet kitty didn't know any fox as sweet as Riley, not even Sho, who preferred to boast about his toughness' and was a little cocky. Riley paused and inhaled, she could tell that he was holding his breath and then he spoke "so.." he paused again "will you come with me?"
Keep on moving, Keep climbing, Keep the faith, Baby. Kitty was stunned for a second so all she could do was star at him with disbelief did he really mean it would he take her back to where she truly belonged, he said he would protect her and that they could look after each other did he really mean it? After a moment Kitty felt her lips curve into a big smile and she squealed with excitement bouncing around like a mere kit when she stopped she looked at Riley "do you really mean it you'll take me back to the tundra?" She asked excitement in her voice she hadn't been there since she was little and the thought of going back made her bubble up with so much energy and excitement. Her eyes glittered with joy and she finally calmed down and sat staying calm as best as she could. "well if you really want to take one of the most energetic foxes with you back north then sure I'll go" she nodded Kitty never thought she would be able to go back north and if she did she would go on her own but nope, she was going to face the world with some one, A fox who apparently trusted her with his life and obviously she trusted him with hers though she barley knew him it felt like they were 'kit-hood' friends. Its all about, Its all about the climb.
