Azizi was content.
With the sun glowing on his strong shoulders, he looked down at the limp gazelle at his feet. Teal eyes shining with subtle pride, the lion grinned, not caring if anyone was around to see his childish expression of joy, as he flexed his claws in the warmth. His muscles were lean and hard, and his golden pelt glowed under the forest sunlight. The five year old lion had survived another year, and while the dry season hadn't been easy with the migration of prey and drying of water sources, Azizi had made it out on top.
The harsh season had ended now, and with the commencement of the wet season, an onslaught of prey had been brought. The gazelle, the king's newly fallen prey, was ample proof of the abundance of food and the arrival of good times. It was young to be sure, probably inexperienced as it had fallen without too much of a chase. However, it was supple and strong -- enough to keep the male going full until he next chose to hunt.
Azizi stretched luxuriously, arching his neck with his eyes closed to the soft zephyrs tossing his long, already windswept fur. A low purr rumbled from his throat, but the cat quickly subdued this, feeling his cheeks warm as he glanced around. No gazelle would ever fear him again if they heard him purr of all things.
Caressing his maw with his tongue, the golden-eyed cheetah sank into the tall, envy grass. The warm scent of his prey tickled his nostrils, and the lion smirked to himself with pleasure. Sitting by the water, he settled down to eat and enjoy the weather. After all, even the eden of the wet season didn't last forever, and he was determined to enjoy it while it did.
His fangs sank into the warm flesh of the gazelle, and he savored the taste of fresh meat. Any Lion worth his salt will tell you that a huge difference existed between the stringy carcasses of the harsher months and the flavors of the wet season, and the large one knew enough to enjoy this with relish. His lips curled back in a faint grin, and as he tore into his meal, toes wriggling in the yellow sand beneath his ribcage.
The sun's orange glow reflected off into the salt water's reflection, masking the sea with a alluring scenery. It attracted the feline, along with the chase of the prey. Though being the top cats, he was a mush to beautiful things. He took in a huge whiff with his nostrils before savoring back to his meat, wondering what could happen next at this unknown beach.

Kiara made her way silently down the beach, She was always quiet this gave the lioness an advantage. She had no idea why she was here but the sunset and the ocean it was a beautiful sight. maybe that's why she came in reality she was just wandering about. she starred at the shore and looked down at the water it was crystal clear and she could see her reflection and a crab scuttling to the shore.. She lifted her head and gazed at the ocean the waters slightly shimmering from the reflection of the setting sun. this put her in a slight trance Kiara had never been to the beach or even close to one so this was quiet the experience.
After Kiara was done gazing out to the ocean and looked at the sky, the sun painted it orange and red and a hint of yellow and the clouds got a pinkish color from the reflection as well. After a while she began walking down shore during this she caught the hint of another lion and blood. She followed the scent and from the distance she saw a figure of a lion in the distance "hm" Kiara hummed she hadn't seen an African lion in a long time so she decided to meet the one up shore. She continued to walk silent as ever and sat right next to him she knew it was a male obviously and he was eating. "Why hello there" She said as she looked at the lion and wasn't sure if he noticed her approach him as he was eating.
She stared at him contently. His mane was big and fluffy with a bit of black in it and like any other lion his fur was a golden brown but she couldn't see his face since he was eating his dinner. SO she sat and waited patently as she often did.

A rough lick was pressed against the carcass of his meal, the fur of the prey being teared off with his feline tongue. He smacked the soft pelt off quickly and sank his teeth into the meal, his jaw ripping another piece on off. He began to chew slowly, making sure he wouldn't swallow the large chunk of meat. He wasn't willing to die from choking on prey. Who would want to die in that most unveil way? Obviously, no one wouldn't.
The sunset colors blended more into the heavens, more hues such as pinks, lilacs, and blue appearing. Golden eyes couldn't help, but gaze at the view once more. His yawn snapped him out of the trance, white jagged canines and his cat-like tongue poked out from behind his curled lips, tears forming at the edges of his eyelids. He wiped them away by rubbing his face against his one paw, claws retracting out so they can rip more flesh off the carcass.
"Why hello there."
Muscles made him jolt up out of surprise, his heartbeat hitting against his ribcage as he took a sharp breath. His head looked over his slabbed shoulder, those auric gems widening. He took a few back steps, his back legs unable to go as fast as his mind, which cause him to tumble onto his back over his dead animal. He landed with a thud against the golden grains, his black and blond mane getting covered with sand. He regained his balance as quickly as he fell, the grains sliding out from his long hair.
"Uh... hello?" he stuttered, blinking a couple of times to see if he was going crazy. A firm shook of his crown was made, yellow eyes staring intensely at the glorious form before him. He hadn't seen another lion in quite sometime. Three years to be exact. The only other felines he had seen was cheetahs, leopards, jaguars, and many more, except, like said before, not one lion, or lioness in this case. A grumble vibrated from his throat as he cleared his throat, wanting to speak out. He smacked his lips before saying anything, however, nothing came out. For those many years, he forgot how to socialize with others of his kind. Hopefully, this doesn't scare the lioness away.

Kiara kept her eye on the other lion she wasn't sure if he was aggressive or not and she wasn't going to take any chances with him either. she could slightly see his muscles under his skin jolt sending chills down her spine she always thought that was weird when other animal's muscles flexed like that regardless she shook it off and turned her attention back to the other lion.he stood up and tried to back away from her but just fell over the dead gazelle with a loud thud and some sand flew getting him very sandy "i thought you were a lion not a crab" Kiara joked hopefully he wouldn't get offended by her comment.
Kiara got a good glimpse of his eyes not much different from her own except maybe a deeper gold she could see kindness and at the same time a hint of loneliness. Kiara always look at animals eyes they always had emotion in them so if you cant tell my the face look at the eyes. Kiara stayed where she was so she wouldn't scare him away.
"uhh hello"
he seemed shy Kiara knew lions weren't usually shy she wasn't obviously but maybe he had been dumped at a young age well whatever it was that made him shy Kiara didn't know andshe wasn't going to butt into his life either get to know people first. kiara wasn't sire how to talk to this lion but she had to say something to him "i'm whats you name?" she said " i am Kiara" she said she wondered if he had a pride or if he was a loner like she was "come down here often?" she asked her voice wasn't loud of firm but it wasn't soft either.
Kiara's voice was usually a bit curious sometimes it sounded like she was angry and sometimes it sounded as a whisper but right now it was right in between she never really controlled it Kiara found it a bit strange it had a bit of a tone saying she was a carefree kind of lion and she really was. but most animals referred to her as ignorant. The lion seemed to be shacked as to see another lion he blinked twice and look fairly surprised as if questioning if he was really looking at another lion well lioness technically " Yes imma Lion" Kiara said to reassure him "although i don't blame you for being surprised i haven't seen another lion since i was exiled from my pride" Kiara said hopefully the word 'exiled' doesn't make him think she was a troublemaker.
Kiara was exiled because her parents were killed and the new leader kicked her out only because he didn't want her around then she met Gil who suddenly disappeared so she was a loner which was no fun at all.

He still remain silent. An awkward sensation started to fill the atmosphere for the male lion, but it was quickly subsided with Kiara's side joke from him tripping. He manage to pull out a chuckle from his throat, unfortunately for the she-feline, he still didn't speak up. Azizi cursed in his mind for not being a gentlemen he was before leaving his old pride, however, he didn't want to seem to over excited when speaking. He wanted to go slow and respectful without scaring her off, but it was hard for him to not bellow in joy when seeing another feline of his kind.
Golden washed gems glowed before his own, sensing her gaze that buried within his deep globes. She was reading him; studying the male. Smart for when meeting another. You couldn't trust one completely until you learn from their body language. And he knew, she spotted the loneliness that was tempting to hide from being caught from another stare.
"What's your name? I'm Kaira."
Her alluring voice drifted into his senses, feeling a firm, however, soft tone compelling from her vocal chords. He gulped lowly so she couldn't hear, thought it wasn't tempted well to do so, he still listen up on her other question after introducing herself. "Azizi." He kind of forced it out, trying to be the gentleman he was one before. He then shook his mane to mask his shy self. "I tend to come here for hunting or for sightseeing," he mumbled from under his breath, hoping she would hear that so he wouldn't have to repeat it.
When reassuring him she was a lion, he snickered. Of course he knew that, but having her tell him made the large one sigh in relief. His muscles then tensed at the word 'exiled' when she explained her reason, auric gems pierced her form. There were no scars or markings of her being a fighter nor there were any devilish aura feeding off Kiara. This must have been some mistake why she was kicked out. Azizi shrugged off the minor situation and cleared his throat again.
"I am happy to see another lion- or in this case- lioness in my presence. It quite a sight to see," he charmed her, growing more comfortable with her by the second. He purred softly and gently, his tufted tail wavering the air with a gesture of happiness, eyes carrying, not the lonely stare from earlier, but of interest and desire.
ooc~ word count: 407 muse: Low notes: Lol. Kiara is funny. And for desire at the end, it's not lust, if you think that way. Just desire to have one with him. But, you can have her think that.

Kiara was leased to hear him chuckle at least she didn't offend him she chuckled too. He seemed to notice she was studying him and she hoped that she wouldn't creep hm out "Azizi" he whispered why so quiet, oh maybe he was sky Kiara chuckled as quietly as she could, she couldn't blame him who knows how long it had been since he'd seem another cat . Azizi shook his mane and spoke again but all she really heard was 'I tend ...for hunting...sightseeing' though he muttered she still got a grasp of what he was saying and she nodded "the ocean can be very nice" she said looking at the shimmering waters. She heard him snicker "well i was just saying you looked shocked" Kiara retorted but there was a playful tone in her voice. Azizi studied her now her eyes narrowed as he looked her over the word 'exile' maybe made him thing she was kicked out for fighting no she was exiled because the pride would have been her's when she grew older and the new leader did not want that so he kicked er out she would clarify but he seemed to just blow it off. Kiara sighed.
He cleared his throat and spoke more clearly now she could hear every word this time "I am happy to see another lion- or in this case- lioness in my presence. It quite a sight to see," He said, then he started to purr softly and a new emotion in his eyes not loneliness, that was good, but it was interest and desire. She smiled at him "I am happy to finally meet a Lion and a gentle and kind one at that" she said returning the charm.
