Kitty wandered through the misty forest trying to figure out where she was. She felt alone and scared and well she needed help. she gave a little bark every now and then and waited for an answer but she got none. She was practically never around Lemuria anymore and she hadn't seen her friend shomari in a long time either she began to worry that there wasn't a place for her hear any more. the young fox made her way through trees mist plant growth and tried to ignore the eerie sounds she was hearing. "Hello?" she called and waited for an answer "Can anyone help me?" she wailed. She sounded like a kit still but she was now a full grown fox although it seemed like yesterday she was only a kit.
Kitty had meet two friends over that time period and they were Eider a funny looking creature who was also very nervous all the time and a fennec fox named Shomari who liked to tease animals smaller that he and boast, kitty didn't mind that she thought it was kind of funny. Kitty wanted to meet more animals but none were really ever around maybe they were scared of her? Understandable there aren't no, there shouldn't be an arctic fox in a forest like this.
Maybe to other animals kitty looked like a ghost wandering around the forest haunting the animals that resided there. To kitty that was a possibility she wasn't sure though. "Anyone?!" she called again but her small voice only echoed in the emptiness of the forest "I need help" she said softly to nothing. Kitty observed her surroundings and noticed it was getting dark outside "uh oh" she whispered. Here she is in a creepy forest full of plants, trees, and mist and the sun was heading down to go to the other side of the world and do his work there and all Kitty could do was wander around and hope for the best.
As soon as the moon rose kitty started to quiver in fear she had no idea what kind of animals lived there and which ones could easisly eat her while she wasn't expecting it. Kitty went to the nearest hollow tree and laid there in a quivering ball of puff the moon reflecting her ghost like fur so any predictors could see her she flattened her ears tucked her fluffy tail closed her eyes tightly and simply whispered. "Please lemme get outta here alive" she whispered this over and over again and she prayed she would be ok. Kitty heard a twig break and her fur stood on end and her fangs bared. She wasn't often like this but she was scared and was bound to be somewhat aggressive. Kitty Kept her eyes on whatever it was that was ahead of her in the mist.

A dark stocky figure lurked around the mist covered forest, it's black beady optics glaring into the wood. The brute sprinted swiftly across the ground with his head low; pink tongue lolling out as he moved. The beast was far from his usual habitat, but he was unsatisfied with the population in the snowy peninsula, so a change of scenery was in order. However, the dense forest was soon becoming a pain to the young wolverine. The eerie mist that lurked around the floor made his already defective vision even worse. It was one of the few disadvantages that he hated about his kind, but he had always thought that his kind made up with their strong firm bodies.
As the beast crept through the woods his small round ears picked up a faint sound that stood out from the strange noises of the forest. Raising his head from the mist, Kovax breathed in the crisp air and listened closely; trying to find the source of the sound. Black ears swiveled in all directions until they heard a voice not too far off. It sounded like whatever creature was making this noise needed help and it smelled like, a fox? Kovax wasn't one hundred percent sure and he really didn't care much. So what if some stupid canine got lost, why should it be his job to save the day. The wolverine decided to take one last whiff of the beast's scent before turning around, but as soon as he did he noticed that the animal was female. Perfect. A small fae lost in the woods all alone. He gave one quick angry shake of his head, "Why should I care." A small growl then escaped his maw as he started walking toward the scent. Why must it be a female? Why? Kovax questioned in his head with no intention of getting an answer.
Another cry for help echoed throughout the seemingly empty forest. This time Kovax could hear the fear behind the fae's voice for he was getting closer. His pace quickened slightly as he gazed up at the sky; the sun was soon to set. The moon was already becoming visible in the sky and the wolverine knew that a little lost fox would become a prime target to the creatures of the night. Why must he be so protective over females? It just didn't fit his personality at all. Kovax was out for his survival and his survival only. He was rude at times, started fights over nothing, and a ruthless killer when needed. So why was it that when a helpless female came along he went out of his way to protect them? It must have been some genetic mess up; a trait that just magical placed itself within the beast.
Finally the brute came across were the fox's scent was most potent. His black eyes squinted as he desperately tried to find the creature. It was now night, the only light being that of the moon, and his vision was not very keen right now, although it wasn't that keen to begin with. Taking a few steps forward in the direction of the fae's scent, he stumbled upon a large hollow tree. He could hear whispers coming from the tree, but couldn't see the creature that they belonged to. Ducking his head low to the ground once more he slowly walked closer to the tree. From his pose he looked like a small bear lurking out from the shadows of the trees. "Where are you fae?" His voice was husky and somewhat intimidating, though he wasn't trying to be. Kovax was just naturally a frightening looking fellow, he wasn't one to be messed with.
The dark furred brute placed one large paw in front of him; accidentally snapping a twig. Suddenly a white ball of fluff bristled up and bared fangs. The fox was so bright compared to everything else in the eerie forest, how could he have missed her. She was trying to be frightening looking, but her small feminine size made her anything but scary. A small snicker rose from the wolverine's throat as he looked the small creature over. "Put those away, you look foolish trying to scare off a wolverine." Small laughs broke in between words as the male spoke. Indeed the little fae looked down right silly trying to scare something much bigger then her off with her pearly white teeth. "What's something so small and helpless doing out in this dangerous forest, especially at night. You're going to get yourself killed vixen." The wolverine backed a few feet away from the frightened fox as he spoke, his voice dark and husky. If some other unfortunate soul happened to wonder across this scene they would think Kovax was the big bad wolf trying to eat little red riding hood, but he was trying to be quite the opposite of that. For once.

Kitty looked a head of her to see a faint figure of a small looking bear thing he tried to poof up more but she was small and well not very scary looking but she wasn't going to get eaten either she recognized this creature being a wolverine she had seen a couple in her life time but them being a bit bigger than she Kitty usually avoided them but he found her and probably knew she was freaking out she let out a quiet snarl hoping to make him go away she was nervous around males since most are rude and aggressive towards small females such as kitty. He was the one that approached her and snapped a twig she could hear animals whispering about the white vixen ghost lurking in the dark misty forest she heard murmurs and howls screeches and movements. She was indeed terrified.
The wolverine spoke to Kitty he sounded scary but she had grown used to this being in an eerie forest like this one now. he told her to stop trying to look scary she only looked sill Kitty knew that but she wasn't going to try and appear friendly either her fur settled and she stopped showing her small but sharp teeth she heard him laugh a little "Why are you laughing!?" Kitty said firmly to her this was no laughing matter bur he found it rather amusing she was not getting a good first impression she thought he was being kinda rude he asked why something as small as she was wandering in a predator infested forest "I didn't come here on purpose " she snapped she wanted to call him a bozo but she didn't he said she would end up getting herself Killed "I know that But i didn't intend to be here this long" she said she was still scared and very stressed out.
"And why are you here this isn't exactly a place for a wolverine ya know" she said He backed a few feet away from her when he spoke she wondered why was the wolverine going to leave her and let her stay in this forest or was he preparing to make a deadly eap for her she would make a good meal for him after all. Kitty stood up tall and put her tail in an alpha potion trying to appear brave and bold which she wasn't she was still scared and tried to ct tough "Well if you don't mind I um Have places to go and um little time " she turned around and saw eyes flash in the light and she attempted to walk that way but froze in her tracks lowering a bit looking like a scared kit and seemed completely helpless
"im uh only making sure the uh coast is clear heh don't wanna get eaten" she said srill acting brave she stepped on a twig breaking it the sudden sound sending her two feet in the air "WHat was that" she said looking around the area she was in and looked back at the wolverine "heheh" she said she was only embarrassing herself so she gave up and sat down wrapping her whte tail around her small feet it was getting a bit chilly but that was something she liked. "ok maybe i could use a little help" she muttered still not trusting the wolverine

Black beady optics watched with amusement as the white fae settled herself down; putting away her small fangs. It was so funny to the brute that this small female was trying to frighten him. She couldn't help it though that she was born as such a small creature, it was unfortunate for her. How terrible the wolverine thought it would be if he were born her size; being pushed around by bigger and stronger animals. The brute would have been killed off at a young age if that were the case, his mouth being the cause of it. His thoughts were put on hold as the fox began to speak, her voice firm and snappy; fear still lingering in her eyes. "Hah, I'm laughing because something so small is trying to act so big and bad." The dark male gave a dark snicker as he half circled around the female fox. "It would have been so easy to snatch you right off the ground. Just imagine what would have happened if some hungry predator had come along instead of me." Black lips pulled up into a smile as he spoke, showing off sharp pearly white teeth. "And yes, I figured you didn't mean to be here this long. What foolish little creature would purposely be in the forest at night?"
Another low laugh erupted from the wolverine's throat, "True, little fox. The snow filled lands where my 'home' at one time, but the place was becoming such a bore. And what about you? You are white as the snow, should you not be there as well?" Kovax didn't realize it at first, but the little white fox was indeed intended for the snowy wastelands that he had come from. In a way she was a neighbor of some sort. The fox's reaction to his retreating steps came across as odd to the wolverine. Her body rose along with her tail, a failing attempt to try and intimidate him again. "Fox. There is no point in trying to intimidate me. In fact I find it insulting, so back down." Fangs glimmered in the moonlight as a short low growl escaped his dark maw. The dark furred beast was not one to tolerate such things, even though he knew it was just an act. No one would get away with trying to show dominance over him, right now he was the superior animal.
Kovax looked with amusing eyes as the white fox tired to skitter off, but was soon stopped in her tracks by the many stalking eyes lurking in the shadows. Pathetic. If the fae needed help all she had to do was ask. Why pretend to be brave when obviously she was not. The brute just gave a silent nod with a smile as she continued on with her charade. However, when the small canine snapped a twig and almost jumped out of her skin Kovax couldn't help but burst into laughter. "Relax, little one. Nothing will harm you while I'm here." The brute walked over to the terrified fox and stood next to her. Finally she had given up pretending and asked for help, something she should have done from the beginning. "Well, unfortunately with it being night and having my eyesight, it might be best to just find somewhere safe to sleep. Then, when morning comes we can leave this forest." The beast's words were smooth as he spoke and kinder then before. He was trying his best to be polite to the young fox and if he had to he would stand watch all night.

Kitty showed no submission to the wolverine that had come walking by as she was showing fangs and had her fur on end Her fear was beginning to die away and she still stood tall not trying to be intimidating but letting him know that she was not going to be submissive to him she tried to do this often but sometimes her kindness got the better of Kitty. He claimed to be laughing cause such a small animal was trying to be intimidating "OH what do you think I'll do give my self to the hunter?!" she said firmly She knew he was only speaking the truth and that it hurt sometimes but he should also know when to keep quiet as well.
He snickered and began to circle Kitty and she didn't take her eyes off of him she knew to keep her eye on strangers especially wolverines who have a tendency to be backstabbers he can turn on her and eat her at any moment she showed a bit of distrust and that was necessary too he was a predator towards Kitty and she was the easy prey. He pointed out how easy it would be to just pick her up and eat her and how lucky she was he came along and she knew he was right He smiled showing his teeth and kitty backup a little bit keeping her distance.
He commented on her coming into the forest she was glad at least the brute knew she didn't enter the forest on purpose before she said anything about it and as she thought he was from a land of snow like she was "I thought as much" she said "i have seen a couple wolverine when i was living a a snowy wasteland" she muttered. He laughed when the twig scared her out of her wits and she growled Was he getting a kick out of watching a small fox getting scared half to death in a forest full of bears and other predators that could snatch Kitty up in seconds it sure seemed like it. Kitty walked over to the wolverine once more but didn't get to close "I have a request" she said softly with a bit irritation in her voice "if you help me you can not laugh every time i jump two feet in the air yes?" She said standing up and backing away a few feet.
As if not listening he spoke about what he though was her trying to intimidate him "oh lord here we go" she muttered He said that he was offended that she was trying to be intimidating "I WAS NOT trying to intimidate you Mr tough guy i was trying to make a brave act if you didn't notice before!" she snapped "Now lets not make any more assumptions shall we?" she said a bit calmer she heard leaves crackling be hind her and she whirled around just to fin a wandering deer whispering to herself and then Kitty turned her attention back to the wolverine
The animal spoke again walking over to Kitty she still showed no submission to him and he told her not to be afraid of anything while he was around "I'll try" she said in a whisper knowing to fear him turning on her and eating her for breakfast, He said they would have to find a safe place to sleep for the night since he didn't have the best of vision at night Kitty agreed to this "where to first" she asked her voice was now soft and calm and she sat down wrapping her fluffy tail around her legs.

The beast simply laughed at the snow white fox as she continued to show no submission to him. Usually he would have made her submit by now; pouncing on her and teeth at her throat until she admitted that he was the dominant one. However, today he was feeling remarkably kind toward the little creature, lucky for her. He also remained in an alpha position, although this was his normal pose when around others, but he gave up on trying to dominate the young fox. It was clear that her fear was slowly dieing down and that she had no intention on giving into him. "Hah, if I was the hunter then you'd already be dead, fox." A menacing laugh followed after his words. The fae was indeed lucky that he had not been the hunter this time, for she would have made a good meal to him and many others that lurked around the shadows of the eerie forest. Even now it would only take the beast a few seconds to snatch her up and break her neck.
At least the fox was smart enough not to take her eyes off of the wolverine; golden optics glued to his moving frame. Even though the brute had no intentions on hurting the small creature it was always a good habit to never trust a stranger. Kovax grinned amusingly as the vixen backed away from his razor white fangs. Another good habit to practice; always keep your distance from the predator. It seemed like this little canine was a smart one, but maybe not since she did let herself get lost in the woods alone. How foolish she was for letting that happen. If you're going to go exploring in some unknown place at least bring a friend with you so that you're not the only target. "Yes and I have seen many little fluff balls like you running around as well even ch-" The brute held his tongue before he finished his sentence. Indeed he had seen many foxes in his old homelands, but he had also chased a few down as well. Not many times did he stop to have a chat with one, they were merely a snack to him, but the white fae didn't need to hear that. No need to make her more terrified. It wasn't that he had anything against her kind he was just merely surviving. "And why is it that you are so far away from home?" The brute quickly asked; changing the subject before the vix could ask questions. Kovax also wondered as to why the artic fox was way out in the forest instead of the snow filled lands as he was. Did she just simply wonder too far or was she looking for a new place to call 'home' as well.
The wolverine's laughter returned when the female let out little growls. How cute. It seemed like the fae was becoming irritated by the fact that Kovax thought it was hilarious how skittish she was. How could she blame him? If any other creature came along they would find it amusing as well, wouldn't they? He was unsure, but that didn't stop him from getting a kick out of her fear for there was nothing to be afraid of. If the brute was plaining on eating her in the first place he would not have shown his face. Instead he would of been high in the trees, waiting, ready to pounce on her and break her spine at any moment. No he was here to help, despite his attitude toward the fox. That was just normal Kovax though. His small round ears listened intently as the creature made her request; irritation lingering in her soft voice. "Well the only way I can fulfill your request, little one, is if you stop being so jumpy. I told you nothing with harm you while I'm here." His words never faltered as he spoke, meaning they where nothing but the truth, and he was not going to promise anything if the fae was going to jump three feet every time she heard a noise. She would have to control her fear better. Then, he would control his laughter.
A small grin pulled at his black lips, "Well then you need to practice pretending to be brave because you're not very good at it." He snapped back. Suddenly the snow fox whirled around after hearing some crackling leaves that turned out to be just a deer passing by. "Just a deer." The brute muttered when she turned back toward him. Tired of standing, Kovax sat his rump down and watched the fox attentively. Her whispering would have been unheard if the beast didn't have such great hearing. "Good." He replied firmly as he watched her sit and wrap her white fluffy tail around her short legs. "First, I suggest we move from this spot for your scent is most potent here since you lingered around so long." In seconds he was back on his feet; moving past the fox and toward a narrow pathway. Black beady eyes squinted as he desperately tired to see what was beyond the path. It seemed like more trees, from the smell of it, no water which was good. They wouldn't want to go toward any source of water for all the late night eaters would go there for a drink. "This way." The brute looked back at the fox and motioned for her to follow. "And try to keep up." Wolverine's weren't the kind to keep pace with others. They had two speeds, fast and stop.
The dark furred brute constantly inhaled the crisp forest air as he began to sprint through the trees at a decent pace. His direction changed every few minutes as he trotted along; adverting away from any scent that lead to a predator. Soon he came to a thick grouping of trees that was perfect cover for the two creatures. Kovax padded over to one of the huge overgrown plants and placed one paw on it's trunk as he stood on his back feet; sniffing the air to see if anyone else had claimed it. Pushing his paw off of the tree he landed on all fours again with a low thud; facing toward the little white fox. "Well this should work, for now. How well of a climber are you?" A small grin stretched across the male's face as he stared at the snow fae. They would be much safer off of the ground and Kovax had no problem with climbing up the tall tree, though he was unsure on how well a fox could climb. If she had any trouble with making it up the enormous tree he would just have to carry her up there. She was small enough to were it wouldn't hinder the large weasel, he had done it many times before although they were different situations. Then, the two could rest for the night and begin their journey out of the misty forest.

Kitty trotted behind the fast moving wolverine who's dark fur made it hard to see him in the dark misty forest if she last him she was most likely going to die in these woods and she did not want that to happen she wasn't going to let her worst fear happen well worst fears she has two dying alone and dying before she can have a family which she was a very long ways away since it is rare to find an arctic fox in the southern lands kitty had been here for about a year and she is still trying to adapt to the environments and habitats she wanders in to. the wolverines word echoed in her head before they started to move about he was only going to stop laughing at her if she could control her fears easy for him to say he doesn't look like a small to medium sized dog like she does and two his fur is dark hers glows in the moonlight making her appear as a ghost. Then he said she needed practice pretending well he was getting on her neveres and probably would until she was able to get rid of him it was a good idea to leave the spot to she had been there for so long she could smell herself he told her to keep up and that he wasn't going to wait on her so she kept a steady pace he began to sprint and kitty had to run to keep up "Hey you are going to fast" she gasped trying to catch her breath she was scared she would loose him but his bum stayed in sight at least when he stopped kitty almost crashed in to him but she stopped herself.
She looked at the tree he was looking at and circled it to see if there where any vines to help her climb up the tree but there wasn't any "figures" she muttered he wanted to know how well of a climber she was "well im ok i used to climb icebergs back in my old home" she said "trees shouldn't be too much different i can try" she said and backed up running towards the tree and wrapping her small legs around it slowliy making it to the closest branch "Ok is this high enough?" she called down she was about six feet off the ground so it should work.
Kitty tried to make herself comfortable and she did it as best as she couls she fell asleep almost at the exact moment she had closed her eyes waiting for the wolverine to come up there with her.

Black beady orbs glanced back to see if the little fox was keeping up with the beast's fast pace. Indeed she was, but the small fae had to run just to keep up with his sprinting; calling out in between gasps that he was going too fast for her. The brute simply smiled as he turned his head forward, though the fox would not be able to see it, "I told you to keep up." The wolverine's husky voice was but a whisper, he was mostly talking to himself as he continued along his path. The beast found it amusing that the mini-canine was still terrified even with him there. He was not going to let her get lost again, even if she did mange to disappear from his sight he would just track her scent down again. Plus he also wouldn't let the fae get lost again because all of his time 'rescuing' her would have been in vain if she ended up getting eaten in the end and Kovax did not like having his time wasted.
When they finally stopped Kovax looked toward the little fox, who had almost run into him, and watched as she circled the tree for an easy way to climb up it. A small laugh came about as she muttered to herself, "I see. However, trees are very different from icebergs." Black optics stayed on the small fae as she backed away from the gigantic tree and ran toward it; wrapping her dainty legs around it and climbing about six feet off of the ground. "Not bad, I guess," Fore limbs now placed on the tree's huge trunk as he looked to a thicker branch further up on the tree. "But I prefer to be higher." At the end of his sentence the dark furred wolverine used his powerful legs and pushed off of the hard ground underneath him, easily making it onto the same branch that the fox was on, it bent slightly with the added weight. However, his sights were set on a different branch, a little higher up from the fae. With another strong push, Kovax made it to a thicker branch right above the snow white fox. He would have climbed higher up the tree but the little fae seemed to be content on were she was. Almost instantly she had fallen asleep on the small branch. The wolverine smirked as he looked down at the fox, "Damn day walkers, always crashing at the funnest part of the day." Kovax's voice was quiet as he spoke, not wanting to wake the little fox. He made himself comfortable on top the large protruding branch; stretching out his body along the branch. It was a place that the brute was used to sleeping on so it wasn't as bad for him as it might of been for the snow canine.
The wolverine's small black eyes gazed out into the darkness of the forest; along the ground beady yellow eyes stared back at him. A low growl rumbled from within his throat, making the little orbs scatter off into the distant. "That's right you better run." A short snort followed the beast's low threating words, along with a smug grin. Afterwords the brute placed his dark head on top of his crossed fore limbs. It had now been a few hours since he ventured into the eerie wood and a few more since encountering the white artic fox. The wolverine's body was ready for his four hour sleep and it would work out perfectly too. The sun was soon to rise, the beast would be able to sleep and wake with the rising orb. A loud yawn escaped his black maw as he thought of slumber, only taking a few minutes to look the area around again from a top the branch before letting himself be taken by sleep.

Kitty's slumber seemed peaceful even her dream was she dreaming about leaping around in a field with other foxes it made her feel calmer she even smiled in her sleep. Kitty slumber soon weakened his grip and she slowly woke up, things were a bit fuzzy at first and it was pitch black no doubt very late she yawned and blinked her eyes a few time stood up and stretched, she shook off her fur and looked around. she looked at kovax who climbed higer than she had but she was a fox not really a tree climber she looked up to see what she could of the sky and there was nothing no stars, no moon, no light actually it was very cloudy and the only light she saw was lightnig and it came with soft rolling thunder. "Rain" Kitty whispered she stayed where she was but felt uneasy in a tree while it was raining the wind could knock it down or if the lighting followed the rain it could hit the branch causing her to fall six feet to the ground and at least break one of her dainty delecate legs she wanted to go lower but she also didn't want a bear to get her while she was only two or three feet off the ground she wanted to go to kovax he was bigger and maybe despite the fact he was a wolverine she might feel more comfortably. she backed up all the way to the end of her branch and ran to climbed higher she jumped and wrapped her skinny legs around the thick trunk and started pulling herself up towards Kovax.
As she tried to grab on to a branch a couple feet higher she reached out with her paws to grab it but it was too thick her griibbed the tree tighter with her hind legs and tried to wrap her forpaws around the branch. it was some what successful as son as she had the branch she let go with her hind legs but the worst part was that it didn't work out the way she hoped when she had a hold ot the thick branch she turned upside down like a giant white bat she could feel herself slipping and tried to get a better grip but she would just come loose again. when she gave up she fell she his a few branches nearly breaking bones and hit the ground with a loud thus and a small squeak "owwwwwwwwwwwwwww" she whined she tried to stand but the impact temporarily paralyzed her and she was kinda shocked.
Kitty was able to stand after a few moments and she inspected herself she had a cut on her leg and on her nose and a few brushes but other wise she was fine physically anyway but she knew her bleeding cuts being as small as they are would still attract predators with a good sence of smell so she was still in danger and the fact that she was white as a ghost and stood out like a glow stick waving around in the dark didn't help her situation either. she could hardly see Kovax being as high as she was but she didn't want to wake him either so she tried to climb back up but her legs were weak with exhaustion and hurt she had nearly broken them. so she curled up in a night ball attempting to cover her scraps and cut and looked up ans Kovax he was safe and he was big, she was in trouble and she was easy prey. She covered her face in attempt to ignore the footfalls of another animal she heard and tried to climb the tree again but only got bno where all she could do was sit there and hope for the best.
OK"she whispered "I don't care if he gets mad or laughs at me I need help and that's why he is here" she whispered and looked at Kovax "HEY WAKE UP" she hissed she didn't want to yell but se wanted him to be able to awaken when she called him and he never gave her his name so she could call out him name. ALl kitty could do now was hope Kovax would wake up. ooc: Words spoken by a ghost: 725 level of inspiration: Higher than i thought the whispers of a kind creature: OMG i broke my word count record YAY *Dances* and as for my "Spice things up" idea well i had one but i thought it was too clumsy of kitty and the other seemed to violent so i put them together and made Kitty fal anyway but she did get scrapes (poor kitty D:) i didn't bring in any predators yet >:3
